Bad week.....staying positive.....

Thursday, February 04, 2010

So Its been one of those weeks. My mamma had surgery so I have been hanging with her making sure she keeps down and doesn't hurt herself further. The bad side to nursing your mamma is all the goodies the neighbors bring over as a treat! mmmmmm.......

Anyway I have been really good doing my excersizes every night. making sure I get those blasted crunches in. I have only been doing it half hearted though because of my migraines. Its hard to jump around when your head is pounding!!

Went to the doc again yesterday. He put me on a new preventive drug which is an sesiure med. He was going over the side effects with me and i heard music to my ears......THIS MAY PREVENT WEIGHT LOSS!!

Praise the Lord!! Hallelujah!!

Guess if this works then it will be a good step!! YAY!

How wonderful that you are there for your Mom! I have had maybe 3 migraines ever! And, they were horrible. I'm so sorry you have to deal with them. I hope this new med does the trick and includes that great side effect that you mentioned. What a wonderful surprise!

Congrats on doing the strength training even while hurting. You are amazing!! I'm doing my best to get the strength training in as well. If you can do it with a migraine...I have no excuse!! Take good care of yourself and stay warm!!

Hey buddy! I haven't been on lately so I wanted to see what was new with you! I've had a bad couple of weeks so I know what you mean. But I am so proud of you for sticking with your exercises as best you can! I've been really lazy lately =( I get migraines too and they're the worst! What helps me is putting an ice pack on top of my head. Hope you feel better real soon! XoXoX
