Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow....

It's onion planting time again!

*Bend over, stick an onion in the ground, stand up, take one step to the side* repeat 200 times!

Tomorrow have to plant another 200 onions!
And the next day until they are all planted. emoticon

*sigh* and I keep telling Ray to buy them even though I don't eat them - he just loves growing onions! Thank goodness when they are all planted, my part of the job is done!

What do you do with 400 onions? You got a good workout though. My back wouldn't take well to it. I would be in bed for a week.

Is it the raw onions or the cooked ones that you don't like? Have you tried shallots?
Planting is so good (physically and psychologically speaking), good luck with your 200 onions!
I can't plant anything right now, we still have meters of snow.

I love my onions & I am planting my garden also, but that many onions? NOT!
We have very large onion fields west of us, near Luke AFB. Think I will buy mine.

I'm wondering where you live that you can plant onions this time of year. Clearly, it's warmer than where I am.

That's funny! If YOU don't eat them, what on earth do you do with all of them?? I mean, they're not like beets, that you can pickle, or squash that you can can, or tomatoes that you can make salsa out of.... so what do you do with THAT MANY onions??
