Im counting down the days in February

I have been sick on and off for 6 months and finally I feel like my season of illness is coming to a pass.

Today is February 1st. I have printed out the monthly calendar fom Sparkpeople and I am going to focus on the daily items.

My goal is to be healthier in 28 days. I would love to feel well enough to lose 6 pounds this month.

I want to do better tracking my food. I want to stay within my calorie limits and continue to measure my servings and drink my gallon of water. {Dr's orders} My nutritional choices are 99% healthy... woohoo! I continue to struggle with the 8 servings of fruits & veggies now that it is winter, but am making that a priority.

I want to do my walking everyday and try some relaxing exercises.

I am hopeful when I see the cardiologist that I can return to cardio exercise soon! I am hoping we can get to the root of the low blood pressure and get it steady again.

So I am counting down the days in February so that on March 1 I can feel better then I have been.

What a GREAT month it is going to be!!!

My goal is to make excise a habit again. I really got off track with being gone on vacation so long.

    Sounds like you have a strong set of goals there. Stay with it. Especially the healthy eating. Try to fit some superfoods into your diet atleast once a day.

I hope your cardiologist gives you a thumbs up.

    It sounds as if you have a good plan. When it is winter I keep at least one crock pot going with some kind of soup or stew going all the time. It's a good hot healthy snack or meal whenever I have a need. It is always full of vegetables so I have no problem getting my daily veggie requirements. Keep smiling sunshine. emoticon

    I wrote a blog about this today. We have some of the same goals. I'm going to track my fitness and nutrition more consistently in Feb. I'm tired of not feeling well, too. Oh, I so hope I feel better on March 1. Wishing you the best for this month. I'm with you on this journey.
