Weight loss this week was 0.7 kilograms. I am now at 82.2, down 13.8 from my start weight of 96. And, for those of us ticking off milestones, I have just passed the half-way mark toward my goal weight of 69.
All in all not a bad week. I ran my 11km run on Friday in a decent time and at the end of it felt as if I could go around again! The difference was probably carrying a (home-made) sports drink with me. Honestly I didn't like carrying a 500mL bottle in my hand as I felt it upset my balance and slowed me down, but physically it was great to have the fluid, calories and salt topped up whenever I felt like it. I've since done it again and produced a fast 7km so it's obviously good for me. I need to keep thinking about the carrying. I have tried a backpack pouch in the past and didn't like the sloshing. Mr Fussy!
I ate UNDER my calorie range on 3 of 7 days...I'm still being a bad boy. For the life of me I just didn't feel like eating any more on those days. I'm working on how to get a few more in. On my Food Tracker I've introduced a new meal - 'Workout' - and log all the stuff I eat before, during and after workouts there. That's encouraging me to consider it okay to consume a few more calories for the sake of stamina and recovery.
Calories burned from exercise exceeded 9000 last week so I've upped my eating targets again. Reluctantly, because I know I'll have trouble eating enough.
Anyway, here's a photo of me on Saturday showing that I too can generate junk piles in the corner of my balcony!
