It's gonna be February in 4.5 hours and I'm happy to report that after a lot of stress I hit my goal of 159 lbs for January!
I kept losing the same 3 pounds over and over again for much of the month, and then last week I abruptly dropped from 161.8 lbs on Friday to 158.8 lbs the next Friday. Wow! Now, the scale has bounced back up a little, as is to be expected with any sudden loss, but I still got to count 158.8 as my weigh-in for that week :)
Motivating myself to run has been really hard all month- in fact, I only ran twice this month! How sad. To ameliorate this terrible habit, I signed up for TWO 5K RACES yesterday- one at the end of May and one at the end of August! I can't wait, and the thought of the looming race days has made me want to start training again.
School is really stressful, as expected when I'm taking 6 courses in a semester- whew! But I'm hoping I can continue to see positive results with my grades and my weight.
