Wow, January was a challenging month, but I'm seeing results! I took some time to rebound from the holidays, figured out a weekend eating plan that will work better for me (2 meals + 2 snacks), and finally set up the bike trainer and am actually USING it!
So, as the month winds down, it's time to set my event goals. Here's what's on my list... time to go register so I'm committed!
Urban Assault Bike Ride - May 16th
Flying Wheels Century Ride - June 12th
Seattle to Portland - July 17th/18th
Oyster Racing Series - Aug 28th
Seattle 1/2 Marathon - Nov 28th
This way, my biggies are spread out enough to keep me going the full year! Back-to-back last year was my downfall... I'm looking forward to finding a few more fun runs or multisport things for the 2nd half of the year.
