My knee is feeling better ( I got some new shoes and it has helped. By the way DeBoers in Bountiful is a great place to buy shoes.) and I am running again and my husband is also doing some running on the treadmill. How about that!! I ran 3 miles on the treadmill the other day in under 40 minutes, which was one of my goals at the first of the year. I am looking for a 5 k to run sometime within the next few months. Right now I am looking at the snow goose chase in Delta. My 13 year old daughter said she will run with me. My body feels stronger every day!!

8 years ago I was using a cane and had some serious health problems. I have come a long way!! Some days are still difficult, but I push them aside and concentrate on the days that I am strong. emoticon

I was looking for the follow-up story. Completing a 5k is a "kodak" moment. Yes, I agree, you are a runner!

Good for you for doing so well with your running!! If you are interested, there is a 5K on March 27th that I am going to be running. If is sponsered by Goldenwest Credit Union (my employer) and helps to raise funds for the local schools, plus you get a t-shirt!!

I too am looking for a 5k soon. I recently started running 3 miles and am excited to get faster too. If you find any...let me know please. I also live in Northern Utah. Thanks!

YAY for running!! It feels good to grow stronger. I'm thinking of doing a 5K but scared. I only run on the treadmill at this point. Anyway, I wandered across your blog and wanted to encourage you to keep it up!
