There are some days where I just need to catch up on my rest because I work extra hard the previous week. Monday was one of those days. I had been up almost 24 hrs and I needed to sleep so I didn't get any workouts done or a lot of eating fit in. I am still trying to find a balance with getting all my calories in while keeping my carbs and sodium and all the other nutrients within normal limits. I think I did that today (Tuesday) except I didn't get enough carbs based on what they think I should get minimum. I think I will change the minimum and make the maximum be what they say the minimum should be since I am diabetic. That way while I am keeping them low based on being diabetic, it won't look like I am keeping them too low or too far under what they should be when they are actually right where they need to be. Unfortunately, they don't have a set of recommended nutritional values for the meal plan (even for those who just add their own foods) for diabetics. I just have to go on what I think my doctor would want.
