This week I saw again that Spark Streaks are not a tool for me, a recovering perfectionist. I logged in one night close to midnight and that day was not counted. I did not let my head get into a bad loop over it though - I am going to monitor my process without getting hung up on the streaks. The promise I made to blog my progress did help me with water several days where I might have blown it off.

This week has been good. I have been very consistent about drinking my water. I haven't been quite as consistent about logging my food but my food is much cleaner than it was. My pants feel much more comfortable now (not sure I can face the scale yet). The small changes make me feel so much better.

Thursday the doc injected in the knee capsule and I feel like a new person. I feel 20 years younger and just now realize the difficulty and pain I was having while trying to move. I'm not cleared for much moving but I do get to try out water aerobics. Next week I was told I can bike if the pain is still gone.

I am holding myself accountable to report continued progress with drinking my water and I plan to continue to work on food records

    Wow Sara! Fabulous news on the knee!

    Streaking isn't my cup of tea either, especially when it comes to my most important goal of following my meal plan/not bingeing. The streaking adds tension (the opposite of the intended encouragement :) So, I think it's gr8 to realize and find what works for you.

    I have found it helps also to acknowledge when I do something well and also when I REFRAIN from doing an old harmful thing. For me, just saying "woohoo" mentally in the moment I do it. And I sometimes use stickers on a calendar, except when it causes me tension during a tougher set/rows of days...

    anyway! WTG!!! keep shouting out all the gr8 things u R doing! Love that your pants are fitting better! Woohoo!

    I also don't look at spark streaks either. I did at first but found it cumbersome.

    I do look at my overall points and fitness points and try to compete against myself here.
