    I'm glad I found your blog! :)

I read this article that I posted on my Facebook page about how scientists tested the effects of junk food on rats. They gave them ho ho's, cheesecake, bacon, and other stuff in their testing. The results proved that junk food is as addicting as heroine in rats. The rats ate twice the amount of calories than the control group.

My daughter and I decided that we should be smarter than lab rats. lol. Now, she's rail thin, but it's not good for her either. I decided to give up junk food cold turkey. If it doesn't come from my house, I don't eat it. What I've found is that I've automatically started to eat smaller portions, have increased my fruit/veggie intake, and am easily staying within my calorie range. More importantly, I don't desire the junk food like I have before. IT'S AMAZING! I'm wondering what would happen if you 'just said no' to the pancakes for 2 weeks... Would you still want them?

My goal has been to change my eating habits completely during my 60 Day Yoga challenge (I'm on week 2). I've found that it truly works. I hope you find what works for you, and know that you'll continue to be an inspiration.

In our house we have not been doing what is required either. We decided to
    make a better effort.
