I know you felt really demotivated and negative today but I am so proud of you for going to thr gym! It takes a really strong person to do a workout when you don't feel like it!
You should be so proud of yourself for doing an hour's run, you have done so well! For someone who is still working on running, this is only your second 1 hour run so you can't expect miracles. But a HUGE congratulations for doing it!!!
I would agree with Jackie regarding the dairy, I always feel a bit off when I exercise after eating yoghurt or drinking a lot of milk.
I hope you have a wonderful time with your boyfriend! You should try and relax a bit for a few days, you deserve it!
So so happy for you, you are so inspiring! I'm off to the gym now because I've watched this blog. I was feeling like I couldn't be bothered today and this has made me want to go, so you should be really pleased!

I had a bad run today too! I ran slow. I couldn't keep my heart rate down. I ran slow. Oh I said that....but it's true. I ran REALLY slow and nothing I could do would make me run faster. It took me an hour to run 5 miles! I had to walk home the last mile cause I couldn't run anymore. I was tired!
We all have those days. We just move on.

We all have days where we're just not feeling it. I love that your shoes are what push you!
You are so right that what matters is that you got through it. Think about all the days when you don't feel like going to the gym and you just skip it. Isn't it better that you did it, even though it didn't feel that great?
Even if you don't feel like you did a good job, I know that you did! You are such a model and motivator for me, and I have days like you do too where I kick myself even though I actually did a good job.
I have irritable bowel syndrome which can make me upset to my stomach. What might have made you sick is the yogurt--I know that sometimes dairy can upset your stomach if you ingest it before you work out. What keeps me from feeling ill is if I try to stick to a non-dairy protein and carbohydrate snack. I think the banana is great, but maybe you could sub some peanut butter for the yogurt. Or anything really that does not have dairy in it.
Thanks for the shout out! What you said about my weekend really helps. Pat and I are going to go to yoga on Saturday morning, so that will keep us busy. If the weather is nice, I plan to get a run in as well. I might have to play this video again in the middle of the weekend!
Every time I am considering making a bad decision (i.e. eating fries, hehe) I will think about you and this video and know that you are routing for me.
Same goes for you--I know that today was hard for you, but know that you are doing an AMAZING job, and that I am cheering you on, even if I am far away! Have an amazing time with your boyfriend, and I can't wait to hear how your trip was on Tuesday!
