Amping it up1

One of my new year's resolutions was to amp up my workout and try and lose the 5lbs. I had gained last year.
I know from previous weight loss experiences that I need to remain patient. Consistency is the key. I've amped up the workout since the beginning of the year and have been consistent. So I'm pretty proud of myself in that regard. But I haven't seen any progress on the scale. That's a little frustrating.
I know I need to be more consistent with eating the right things. I think I eat pretty healthy. Lots of fruits and veggies. But I must admit, I have no will power when it comes to candy. I have been allowing myself something sweet, so that I don't feel deprived. I find I'm trying to reduce my caloric intake of the good foods to budget for the sweet stuff. Not a good practice, I know. I really need to work on trying to reduce the sweets. My new goal is reduce the sweets. Hopefully, the scale will move soon.
