1 pound at a time

Good Morning so every morning for me it's a battle to get up at 5:30 so I can be out the house by 6:15am and be at the gym for 7:00 ( which is conveinently located at my place of employment.... thank God for that) The days I do not make it to the gym.... sleep has won the battle. I've been doing pretty well lately...consistenlty making it to the gym atleast 3x a week.... My NEW attitude is 1 pound at a time. The first week of January I was so upset when I gained 3 pounds over the holidays and on Weigh in Wednesday Last week my weight didn't budge.... ( Due to TOM i only worked out twice) so no surpise there... This week I weighed in and was 1 pound lighter.........and I was delighted... In the past I have set these impossible goals of 20 ...30 pounds but never broke the number into smaller goals. So today I am greatful that God granted me the strength to get my butt out of bed and on the treadmill so that I could see my one- pound weight loss !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm hating the 180's so that is my current goal...to get out the 180's..lol and then I will focus in on the 170's... one pound at a time !!!!! I love SPARKPEOPLE and all the DIVAS..... wishing you all a great journey

    KAIKAI80, that is the right attitude to have. One pound at a time, minute by minute.... We did not put this weight on overnight but an we can not take it off overnight. You just keeping going! emoticon

    One pound can make all the difference - one pund at a time - hang in there - you can do it! I read while on the Treadmill - and it helps pass the time ( and the miles)
