Water

Water is so important. I find that by drinking it, it satisfies more than my thirst. I'm glad on SP that there is a consistency about all the beneficial effects of water. Usually, I drink 10 or more cups a day. I encourage you to drink at least 8 cups a day, if you are not already doing so. If you don't like the taste of water, try putting a couple drops of lemon or lime in it.

    A couple of months ago I read somewhere that water does NOT help you lose weight. So guess what I stopped doing? Patricia, tell me it "ain't" so!!! It's in my head that it's not worth it, please change my mind.

    I have this big container that holds eight glasses plus, I fill it up each morning and drink all day until it is gone.

    Water is important that's for sure. Our water (we have town water & it comes from a lake) tastes terrible so I don't drink much of it. It bothers my stomach, too. I'm planning to buy a water filter for my kitchen faucet soon. I want to wean myself off of soda.

    I am a BIG water drinker as well. I try to do 8 full (12 oz) glasses a day. My exercise should include "running" to the bathroom!!!! :) LOL
