Today I didn't make great food choices and had limited exercise.

Today Ray was scheduled for a Colonoscopy and we were out quite a bit longer than anticipated - hence the less than optimum food choices and limited exercise.

Ray is in great condition! That is what is important!!

Everything else can wait until tomorrow!

Oh yeah! Why the title of this blog?! Well, I heard from yet another member about my video problem and her suggestion was to download the free RealPlayer and let it download the Spark Videos to my computer - then play them whenever I want to! Works like a charm!!

I just hit the pause button before the video starts and then run the cursor around just a bit and a box pops up asking if you want to download. I said yes and the average download was 16mb. From what I have learned, these videos when "streaming" really play havoc with satellite internet limits. With luck, this will be my solution! And once downloaded - I will have them on my computer *forever*

Hugs,
Linda

That's ok as far as the food choices and ltd exercise. Life isn't perfect and neither are we. If I know you, you'll be bouncing back in no time. Glad your DH is alright! And thanks for the tip about the RealPlayer. I'll have to dl that when I get home and am on my personal lappy!

So pleased that Ray is OK. Food and activity choices for one day won't make much difference given your usual dedication and commitment to healthy living. Glad that you're finding solutions to the technical problems.

That's great news, Linda! I'm so glad Ray's colonoscopy turned out well! And I'm delighted to hear you've found a solution for the problem you were having with videos. There are so many of them on the web now that I couldn't do without a way to view them...and I'm glad you found one, too :) Enjoy! - Susan

What a great solution! So glad it's working for you. And, of course, I'm happy that Ray is a-ok. One day cannot throw someone as strong and dedicated as you off track.

I am doing the same, downloading them to realplayer and then my BF is going to burn them for me so I can play them on my DVD player, the screen is bigger. So glad you found the solution.

Glad everything is good. You can make good food choices the rest of the week. What you did today was more important.

Thank you for details on the download process - it works on U Tube videos too!!

That is a great idea for getting the videos. Also, I agree with you on tomorrow. If someone you love got a clean bill on their colonoscopy, that is great and everything CAN wait until tomorrow.

Colonoscopy: not a lot of fun -- so I'm glad everything is okay and as you say, other stuff can wait!!
