Months of inactivity have left tell-tale signs on my body. I can't say that my eating habits have helped. It seems inactivity, pain and depression seem to keep company with each other. I've been on this site long enough to know that "the buck stops here". I need to take responsibility for myself.
Today I reset my streaks and I am committing to drinking my water and logging my food every day. I intend to blog every week (I've never been that good at blogging). I am going to add exercise as I can.
My knee and leg still do not like me much but the pain today is not near as awful as it was on Tuesday. I can almost walk normally for a very short distance. We are still not sure what all the issues are in the knee but my physical therapist and doctor decided that they are going to inject steroid in to the joint . Previously the doc injected it around the hamstring tendon and peroneal nerve. I borrowed an arm ergometer that I am planning on using (when I figure out where I can set it up) and I plan to add some strength training back to my upper body and core, I even signed up for a sample water aerobics class.
I guess my next blog will be to own up with how well I did at sticking to my plans!
