Back on the wagon.....

Okay so today I really thought and thought about how I am going to work out but kept letting everything distract me from it. I've had a lot of stresses in my life the last couple of months that I've let get in the way of me working out.
So today I put on my big girl pants, grabbed my ipod and water bottle and headed downstairs to do some cardio. Luckily I do have cardio machines down there so why am I not using them? Because I have been lazy and uninspired. First I thought let's have a go on the elliptical. I have to tell you that I have a love/hate relationship with that thing! I love it but when I am on it I HATE it! LOL! So after 5 minutes of that I moved on to my recumbent bike. Much better! I was going for 30 minutes and wanted to hit 10 miles within that time. I didn't so it took me another 5 minutes to reach that and I'll tell you what...... I FEEL GREAT! The whole time while listening to Lady GaGa and her pumping me up I was thinking why haven't I been doing this sooner? Doesn't matter. I am doing it now!
With having said that I am feeling much more inspired!
So tonight we are going out dancing and am looking forward to burning more calories.
p.s. I will have a few drinks but I will stick to light beer and water.
