Still Here

I haven't gone away. I've been working on other projects and they are taking all my computer time.

I didn't do too badly at Christmas. I did gain a few pounds, but I really did expect to. I was not going to give up my eggnog and fruitcake. I get them only at Christmas time. I also had mince pie and candies. We had a few cookies, but not too many. LOL We are just finishing the last of the roast beef this week (in a delicious beef barley soup Mom made). I still have two of the five regained pounds. The fact that I didn't even try to lose those three yet, means that I really have learned to eat better most of the time.

SAD affects my energy level, but I may also have apnea. I find out on the 25th. I'm so wiped out most of the time that I'm not doing much in the way of exercise. I know I need to do more, but it DOESN'T make me feel more energetic. Getting outside does sometimes, but the pouring rain we have today makes me want to curl up and read -- or nap!

I need to get back to tracking my food, but I don't have the focus to put in recipes, or track down equivalents. Maybe by the end of the month I'll have a little more focus.

    So Sorry you have seasonal affective disorder. It can make you feel so down. I have it and had apnea too. The apnea was so much better after I had my sleep study and got cpap to help me..But since I lost 35 pounds I don't have that crippling disorder. Apnea can make your days so tiring. I hope you get help soon.
