20-hour project

Thursday, January 14, 2010

So I have switched my cardio from the Stairmaster, which hasn't been too great for me lately, to running. (I am planning to do the Apple Blossom 5K with Darwinista. This will be AWESOME.)

Since there's a thirty-minute machine limit at the places where I have treadmill access, I'm planning on keeping track of how far I can run in thirty minutes. I'm sure I'll have good days and bad days, but I figure calculating a five-day average should smooth out the bumps a bit ... and once I've gotten in twenty hours, I can expect to see some improvement from where I started.

So I already have two hours in. Haven't decided how I'm going to count the 10K runs, but it also looks like I might be doing those Tuesdays, so I have some time to decide.

It's a good thing to switch up your Cardio on a regular basis, so good for you!
