Lost My Motivation Somewhere Around Here

Tuesday, January 12, 2010

It has been a hard week for me as I am having issues refusing chocolate, I LOVE chocolate and crave it every day just about. My hubby went and got us donuts last night, I told him it wasn't allowed in my diet right now but he came home and well 3 donuts later today and 2 last night I am suffering with the thought that I am not going to loose anything and might just gain.

I like the sugar free chocolate pudding. I buy the individual cups and keep them handy. It's more expensive than making it but I'm tempted to eat more from a bowl.

I also like FiberOne - 90 calorie Chocolate Peanut Butter bars, and Kellogg's Fiber Plus Chocolatey Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate Almond Bars - 130 calories each. Peanut Butter is a weakness too.

I drink fat free skim milk (8oz) 90 calories with Hershey's Lite Chocolate Syrup using just 1 Tbsp per cup 23 calories = 113 Total calories. Milk really fills me up and makes a good bedtime treat.

Forget about the donuts you ate and just keep plowing on. Giving up cause you had a few transgressions will just make you feel worse in the long run. Overcoming these setbacks and resetting your goals will make YOU feel in control, not the donuts.

We are all cheering for you!

You might sit down with the hubby and have a talk with him. His support is VITAL and it sounds like he is being unsupportive!

Mzvara has a good idea!

You know what works for me are sugar free chocolate pudding. It's not terrible for you and no added sugar, but it satisfies your craving. Or you can also try sugar free fudgecicles, they work just as well.
