I am so proud of you Allyn!!! Not for losing 16 freakin pounds- which by the way is fabulous, but for a comment you made on your video- "I felt good" isn't that what this whole thing is??? We all know the changes we make have to be realistic for them to stick, right? I can see the confidence and the changes in each video....Way to go!!!
By the way- wish I were 30 again, hit the big 47 this year and you know what? Don't feel it at all.
Thanks for sharing your journey with us and know we'll always be here for the good and the bad.
Spark friends always!

Great attitude Allyn! I love that you didn't let yourself get discouraged because you didn't make your goal. Instead you celebrated the 16 pounds you lost! That is exactly the right way to do it! Congrats on the positive changes you've made. You are way ahead of where I was when I turned the big "3-0." Happy belated birthday!

I'm looking at turning 53 in a few months and it doesn't scare me one bit!

Keep it up Allyn! You're a rock star! emoticon emoticon

The only negative part about this initiative is that we will not see you more often :))) Way to go... you have grown so much and I know I have said this before but I am EXTREMELY PROUD OF YOU! Hopefully you can hear that cheer all the way in S. Antonio! :)
Love ya lots!

Hey, you old geezer! I for one love to hear you babble, I think you are adorable and smart and totally engaging. So if you have to video blog from a rocker now, go for it ( but watch that you're "old" you'll start making old people grunts and groans getting out of it! Just kidding...just keep exercising those abs! )

    Allyn, You are wonderful.
This is your first blog that I have seen, but it is really inspiring for me. My birthday is January 10th and I turned 59. That means next year I will be 60. And I feel like how you said, you wanted to go into your 30's feeling you had done something good for yourself. This is how I want to feel next year going into my 60's.

So, you see, it is all the same no matter what age we are. It is fantastic that you are gaining your confidence now at such a young age and you will have a wonderful life feeling healthy, beautiful and strong, taking care of YOU. Number 1. Thanks, Joann
