Yes, I know, I seem to have been blogging about nothing BUT coconut oil lately, but it really is interesting, and if even half of its reported benefits are true, it is completely worth the time and effort!
Here is an article I found about taking coconut oil internally (either mixing with food or just outright eating it) with every meal:
I tried adding just 1 teaspoon of virgin coconut oil to my oatmeal this morning, and I have to say, I DO feel much more full than I normally do at breakfast. I don't know if I will get up to 1 tablespoon per meal, since that's a lot of extra calories and fat. 1 teaspoon per meal ought to suffice for ME, but if you guys think you need more, go for it. Just remember that this stuff doesn't take the place of exercise!
There're a lot of arguments about any actual, scientific proof that coconut oil does anything for you, but check out EarthClinic.com to see what all kinds of people have to say about it. That's more important to me than what some skeptic scientist has to say!
