WHAT A WAY TO START 2010!

Last year, 2009 went out with a bang! Much happiness and success. But January 2010 cam in thinking it was March and came in like a “LION”.

The day after Christmas, I came down with a really bad chest cold. I was out for the count. No antibiotics the Dr. said because it was a cold. Well it got worse and worse. I ran a temp for a week and a half. Couldn’t get it below 100.5. Dr. sent me home with an inhaler for asthma and cough syrup with codeine. Take two aspirin, call me in the morning. Well a week later, I am finally improving. Temp is gone but hacking and tightness in my chest are still a major issue.

I am frustrated because I can’t get to the grocery store. I need fruit and veggies so I can eat healthy. Orange juice is great right now! As far as exercise, for get it. I lost 5 lbs from Nov. to Jan. but I can’t exercise yet because I get extremely winded and start hacking.

I haven’t even had the energy to post on my Spark. So today, being the first day there is light at the end of the tunnel, I will see how much I can accomplish. I really miss Spark and all my Spark friends. I just sleep a lot, I think my body requires it right now.

Yesterday, I did receive some wonderful news. It really brought me out of the slump I have been in. I AM GOING TO BE A FIRST TIME GREAT GRANDMA IN THE FALL. I posted my Granddaughter’s picture on my Spark Page. She is the daughter of cyberia3716. This will be Chry’s first biological grandchild. She is so excited.

Well, hopefully, next week will bring good news from my Dr. and I can start exercising all over again. I have lost so much ground in two weeks, but this Great Granny isn’t done yet!

    Congrats to Great-Granny, Granny, mother and baby! You need to get your strength back. Exercising when you have chest congestion isn't good. Getting yourself healthy is good. Hope you feel better soon!
