Day 6

Yesterday was good, but I unintentionally went under my calories, fat, carbs, and protein for the day. I wasn't actively trying to eat less than the other days this week; I just ate when I was hungry. I'm going to have to make sure that I get enough to eat today. I don't want my metabolism slowing down! Yesterday, hubby and I went to this great new restaurant in Baton Rouge. It's called the Truly Free Bakery and Deli, and it serves allergen free and veggie friendly food. That means the whole place is gluten free, egg free, and dairy free. While I don't avoid gluten, dairy, or eggs, I was excited to go because there are so few places in Baton Rouge that have a good selection of vegetarian food. Hubby commented when we sat down to eat that they actually serve you normal portion sizes there, and he's right. When they first brought me the food, my American brain was thinking it looked a bit small. However, at the end of the meal I was full and satisfied. Very tasty! Here's the link to their website:
