Back to early November weight

This is a good thing. My weight has been up and down, up and down, since the first part of November. One goal was to get to 190 by my birthday, January 4th. Today I was at 191.8 so I'm getting closer. I don't understand why I so often sabotage my weight efforts but I'm back on task.

    I do the same thing - for me, I guess the key is to accept that I'm going to eat things I shouldn't from time to time, and eat too much from time to time, but I can't let that derail me completely, and I need to keep those "time to time" occurrences to a minimum. Try not looking so closely at just today and instead look more at the "big picture" - you have done a great job with your weight loss over time, and you're still moving in the right direction. Hang in there and you'll reach your goals!

    I don't understand why I undermine my weight loss either. I guess if we didn't, we wouldn't have a weight problem in the first place. emoticon

    I am glad to see that you are back on task! Sometimes for every step we take forwards we take two backwards! Just keep moving forward like those Vikings!

    I think we all tend to sabotage one way or another. However, getting back on track is the key. It has taken me 2 years on spark to lose 20lbs. So I commend you for your wise efforts. Sorry I missed your Birthday...but this time it was unavoidable. chuckle Hope it was a good one.

    Congratulations on almost reaching your weight goal for your Birthday. Journaling or bloging, depending on your comfort level, may prove helpful in figuring out why you are sabotaging yourself. Matter of fact what typically is recommended for these types of issues is to keep a log of what you were thinking/doing when you were overeating. You may find a pattern. Once you know what is going on you can work on a plan to deal with it. Also you might want to ask for help at your doctor's office. I don't know if they offer any type of counseling.
