Ready, Set, RUN!

It wasn't too much ready set today. Its cold outside, and I feel cold and a bit stiff. But I have a race to train for, so there's not time to be cold or stiff!

After I got the kiddo to school on the ice rink, I changed my clothes and got on the treadmill. I didn't do my normal warm up, I just walked for a while, then started running and realized, I wasn't gonna be able to do that today. My ankle was hurting. My shoulder was bothering me again today......pop, pop, pop.....that is annoying!!

So I put my weight vest on (10 extra pounds) and walked for a while, I ran the "chorus" of the song lists and then the next song, walk for 2 minutes and repeat. And I increased my run speed a hair.

Now I'm not so cold!! But I should eat something and then get clean. Hubby is at work, kiddo is at school, I have the house to myself for the next 4 hours!! WHOO HOOOO!!! Gotta make the most of my alone time!

Crank up the radio, clean the house, and chill!!

    Way to go on getting the miles in, even though you were having that twinge of pain in your ankle! You rock! Isn't having the house to yourself awesome! I SO miss being a stay at home mom!
