Today I am officially 27 weeks pregnant!! Yesterday was both relaxing and exhausting. I had a great workout at the gym then headed home feeling refreshed and strong. I did not push it with my walks yesterday, they were light, VERY light in fact. But it felt good to be out there doing it. Last night I raked leaves outside for about 30 mins and it totally drained me, far more than anything I did during the day. My back was better yesterday however late last night the pain started back again strong, then subsided.

This morning around 2 am, my little girl started her own workout routine and started squirming around my belly like crazy. I could not sleep for awhile as she stretched and kicked letting me know she was up and ready to go! It was incredible as I felt her so strongly rotating around and moving in new ways, far different than the single kicks that were so common earlier in my pregnancy. You can tell she is getting stronger and bigger! My husband was shocked at how much he can feel the movements now compared to the beginning. I just love it! I need to take some time today and write down specific memories we have had as of late in her baby book or on blog so that I can remember them always. They are so precious, it makes you want to stop time and soak in each memory.

Wishing all of you a beautiful and successful day! A new day is here. Doesn't it feel GREAT! We are blessed once again to be alive and have this chance to make a change in our lives and hopefully another life as well! Reach high today!

Goals for today - 1/7
1. 15 mins of Yoga
2. 3 mile walk
3. 5 mile bike ride at gym
4. Consume at least 90 grams of protein
5. Consume at least 35 grams of fiber
6. Eat 6 servings of fruits and veggies
7. Drink 128 oz of water
8. Stay between 1500 - 1700 calories

Oh how I miss being pregnant. Did I just say that :-) I don't think I ever felt Lillian rotating around. Just kicks. It's great that you are keeping a journal. You will thank yourself for it. My little one just got her first round of shots yesterday and did get but today is she fussy :-(

Oh she just fell asleep. Gotta run and workout out before she wakes up emoticon

Fantastic job,Jenn!! You inspire me to keep on keepin' on. I got my run in today-in about 23F temps...BBBRRRR....and did some ST,too. I am still in awe of all the protein you ingest-it's no wonder you're baby girl is getting so strong. She'll be the smartest girl alive, too, with all that brain food!!
have a great day!

Truly inspired by you. Today I felt like giving in but I changed my mind when I read your blog. Some people would assume that all their healthy habits should end once they get pregnant! I like your zeal. Keep it up! emoticon

You are doing so awesome....just wait till she sticks a foot or and elbow out and you belly actually looks like an alien is trying to come out...I can remember often....pushing on the weird extension trying to get the baby to move the appendage inward...Keep on listening to that body.

So glad to hear you're feeling better!
Reading about your daugher kicking reminds me of when I was pregnant with my son - he was REALLY big, and I'll never forget being able to see his whole little foot sticking out the side of my belly. Precious memories!
You're so right - we are blessed with another day - let's make the most of it!

Look at you go girlie! Great job on reaching your goals. Sounds like the bambina is just as active as her mommy! I always remember a story my mom told me about me kicking my dad in the head once. LOL So yeah, write down all of those fun things because she'll appreciate them as she gets older! Have a great day!
