Weight Loss Goals for 2010

An admirable team goal set by the SP Class of January 4-10, 2009 is to blog about our goals and progress. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to blog here or elsewhere, but here goes.

When I started my weight loss journey last year, I only had to lose 10 lb. I actually got down to within 4 pounds of my goal. Then I went on vacation. Then I lost control. I found myself then with 15 pounds to lose. The only good thing I can say about this is that I didn't give up. I came back and restarted my weight ticker after I had lost a few of those pounds. (It is not updated honestly at this point in time!)

My weight loss goal is simple: Lose those last 7 pounds and keep them off. Forever.

I plan to do this by:
- Staying within my calorie range each day
- Walking 10K steps per day
- Getting support

With regards to getting support SP has been invaluable to me for this. I cannot tell you how much it warms my heart to get words of encouragement and 'goodies' from my fellow Sparkers. I know that when I tell you all that I 'failed' at maintaining my weight over the holidays the only thing I will hear back are words of support and encouragement. So here I go again. 7 lb to go!

    Good for you gettin back in the game! I cant wait till im down to my final 7 pounds too! Got a long way to go but im sure i'll get there! Keep up the good work!

    As far as support goes you have come to the right place. Ask us and we can help you all of us on here are willing to help. emoticon We are all here for the same reason and sometimes we fall off the wagon, we dust ourselves off & get back on. It sounds like the holidays did that to you. Been there and done that!

    Krysia, you are at the right place to blog. I am glad to see you did indeed loose 8 lbs and you have 7 more to go. You have the right plan and I know you can loose the other 7 more. Keep up the good work! It is all downhill now..... emoticon
