Update

I had my first Chemo yesterday. I will go once a week for 8 weeks, I start Radiation tomorrow for 7 1/2 weeks Monday thru Friday. They diagnosed stage 3 Non Small Cell Adeno Carcinoma, poorly differentiated. I have good days and bad days. I know I don't want to die. I am scared.

    It's Ok to be scared and it's great that you are letting all of us know what you are feeling. Have faith that you will beat this demon and you will. With your faith, all our prayers and the medical community's help you will recover. Know that we are all thinking of you and appreciate the updates so we can support you during the time.

    Of course you are scared! Cancer is a scary disease and you do not have an easy road ahead. I will be praying for you and hope you will keep us posted on your progress.

  Anyone facing Chemo and radiation have more than enough reason to have fear. Reaching out is important, stating needs, if you know what those are, is a positive move. Remember what Cancer cannot do. Cancer cannot erase the wonderful parts of your life; those experiences are yours and beyond the reach of any illness. you are in my thoughts today.
