I found inspiration from my Runner's World magazine today. It was regarding Core workouts. My little family went the gym after dinner this evening, and I thought I would try out a couple of the workouts. First, I ran on the treadmill. I am not a fan of running on the treadmill, but I wanted to give it a shot. I need to start incorporating hills into my running program. Unfortunately, I do not live in a place that has hills. I live in flat, farm land. Which brings the next point, I keep entering races that have hills in the race. Go figure! When I finished doing a short interval workout with hills, I tried a couple of arms and core exercises. I did bent over rows with tricep kick backs. Then I did bicep curls with overhead press. Next, I moved onto core. I did woodchoppers with a medicine ball. Then I did medicine ball roll outs. On the stability ball, I got into a modified plank position. With my arms on the ball, I wrote out the alphabet. I only got to m in the alphabet. It was tough.

I think I will add to my workouts tomorrow. I had a great time at the gym. My kids had a great time at the gym. It was a family affair. Until next time...(981.78 miles to go)

I live in Las Vegas, plenty of hills here, you don't realize it, I walk a lot, I live in a very nice place, very pleasant for walking, I also live right next to Red Rock Canyon,So I am very blessed, I see the cyclist every morning ,but alas I can't ride a bike , but it is a great walk,
I think it's great that the kids go to the gym also, and have a good time,
