first weigh-in of 2010

i avoided official weigh-ins like the plague during the holiday season. i made the decision that i was going to focus on simply maintaining during the holidays, and enjoy myself, relax, what have you. i kept weighing myself periodically to keep myself in check, but i wasn't actively trying to lose weight. did i work out as much as i should have? no effing way. did i track all my food? nope. (but a couple of days i did! that was a triumph in itself.)
so i'm starting 2010 off at 220.4. i'm cool with that. but this is the last time i'll weigh this much! i need to lose at least 6.3 pounds per month to reach my goal of losing 75 pounds by next january. i'm setting a short-term weight loss goal of getting under 200 by march 15...that's more than 6.3 per month, but i'm thinking it's doable. it's on!
