Busy, busy, busy

Friday, January 01, 2010

I have been so busy working lately I haven't had much time for anything! And it's not gonna ease up any time soon. I worked at JC Penney during the holiday season to earn some extra cash that we desperately needed, plus my full time job & classes to get ready for the upcoming tax season. My DH is trying to get his cafe up & running, but it isn't earning an income yet. He works a couple days a week doing pizza delivery, but the income he makes just doesn't cut it. Working retail was was a new experience for me. I rather enjoyed it, even tho it was hectic. Now tax season begins & a whole new "busy" for me! I enjoy that too, I will be starting my 14th season. So, working a 40 hr a week job, plus 4 evenings a week at the tax office, every other saturday nite at Penney's & one evening a week for TKD doesn't leave me much time for the Wii Fit plus I bought myself for Christmas, but I'm gonna try to fit it in somewhere! One thing that's good is that it doesn't leave me any time to sit home, veggin & stuffing my face! Here's to a better year ahead, it's been a rough couple for me!

Wishing you the best in 2010. It's tough when you're busy, I understand the challenge and haven't quite mastered it yet but you've inspired me to try. I used to take TKD and loved it, too but I let my work and school schedule take over. I made it to a blue belt. I also love the Stephanie Plum series which I always manage to take time to read, regardless of textbooks waiting! Anyway, best of luck to you this year!!
