The New Year has already brought about MANY changes for me... my last training session, my heart rate was out of control again, my trainer said he thought it'd be best if we "start seeing other people..." oh, wait... no... lol "it'd be safest if I got clearance from my doctor to train with him next time." He is doing it for my own safety, but after a bad two weeks, (high cals and +4lbs.) I really need him to keep me on track and to motivate me. Looks like I better listen to him... :(

I know you are heartbroken, and if you can believe it, I have been where you are. This summer they found out I had a heart condition by accident. I was restricted why they did more tests. It turns out I am faulty, or at least one of my valves is and the blood will occasionally flows backwards. BUT a little pill is helping not to make it any worse (hopefully, with fingers crossed) and I am monitored as well by my doc. I got to return to my normal crazy workouts and my cardiologist is impressed with the loss and the work I have done to strengthen my heart with all of my cardio. And yes, even when I couldn't work out, I lost. It was difficult but I managed. I am positive you can too.

It sucks to feel like you are stuck, but the silver lining is that if there is anything to discover, it is being caught now. Then you can get back to your routine once you are cleared. :)
Take care of yourself,
Melissa

Happy New Year to you as well!!

Sorry to hear about the training and heart issue. Happy Birthday! I hope that your cardiologist is able to identify what's going on.

Girl how in the world will you be able to do the SHRED with your heart like that? Be very careful on whatever you do. Your health is much more important. As for doing the cardio and buring the calories, just like you said, watch what goes into your mouth and you will actually loss. Maybe once you lose a bit, everything else will fall into pace. I wish you all the luck and Please be careful...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Teresa
