Here comes the start of brand new year. When I make New Year's Resolutions, I like to make at least three: one physical goal, one mental goal, and one spiritual goal.
Physical Goal: Run a marathon, lose ** lbs., lift 3 days a week.
Mental Goal: take a Cooking Class, learn to speak Spanish, read a book a month.
Spiritual Goal: read the scriptures everyday, participate in at least one church activity a week, recite your testimony every Fast Sunday.
Remember, you have an entire a year, 52 weeks, 12 months, 365 days, to accomplish your New Year's Resolution. You'll make mistakes, have draw backs, and maybe even drop your goal, but remember that you are a good person and you're a better person for trying to improve yourself. It only takes 30 days to make a habit, so take a chance. If you don't reach the goal don't be disappointed. Look back on the year and think about all the things you've learned; a little improvement is still improvement.
