Things to Ponder

Tuesday, December 29, 2009

Today has been a day of pondering. I am finishing up my thesis, so I have been thinking a lot about my topic. emoticon I have also been thinking about an article I recently read about diet soda and the student that has been performed over the last 11 years. It says that drinking diet soda leads to kidney failure. Here I am working so hard to keep my life healthy, and I am dumping something into my body that is slowly hurting a major origin. I don't want to be a diabetic. No high blood pressure for me. No high cholesteral. No high triglycerides. Yet, I am constantly working on abusing my kidneys. Who would have thought all of this time has been wasted? I have been drinking diet soda for about 11 years. I could have been one of the studies participants. HHHhhmmm...

On an unrelated note, I did the Wii Active and Wii Fit again today. I am a bit sore from my workout session yesterday. I wonder if this will be the light that pushes me in the right direction. Who knows? emoticon emoticon Later in the evening, I took my dog emoticon for a run. I wasn't planning on going too far because I am a bit sore and tired. I just wanted to get the blood pumping to ease my soreness. We ended up running three miles. It wasn't an easy three miles, but we did it none-the-less. I am proud of how my four-legged friend and I are getting into shape. I would hate for him to have a fat owner. I would also hate for him to be a fat little puppy. Until next time...(983.78 miles to go) emoticon
