As we drove our son to the airport this AM, Mary too said her goodbyes......driving back to the Chicago area. I always get a little teary eyed when I have to say goodbye to my kids, but I know I will see them again. It's just different now that they're gone. Best thing is though, Bella, my little black cat, has come out of hiding!! She is purring and happy that everyone is gone!!

I got a phone call from a friend I had not been in touch with in almost a year, so she was walking and I rode my st. bike....it was great getting caught up and making a date to get together in this spring. She lives an hour away, and we feel we can wait till spring!! We can email each other and chat on the phone till then!

Poor dh.......he broke a tooth last week one day biting on something in his Chinese dinner. He actually thought it was just a little nerve problem, but on Christmas day, biting on a cracker he actually broke it!! He has an appt. to see our dentist tomorrow AM.......we have 75% coverage on crowns right now....through the 31st...then it goes to 50%.....so hopefully he can get that going before January 1!!!! I'm glad he's not in too much pain, as he went to a guy's Christmas party, and he left a little while ago. I loaded up cookies for him to take.......get them outa here, right!!!!!
