Had a not so proud moment today when I sulked from a comment from my mother. I put down the jacket (instead of buying it anyway) that I knew was cute because she said that it did not "make me look skinny". I could have anticipated that we would disagree and steel myself to not personalize the remark. Instead I disappointed myself with a childish reaction.

My mother is always going to speak her mind. When am I going to accept that?
