I am rarely this creative when preparing hummus, but since I almost always slice up some colorful bell peppers in two or three colors and/or other veggies to use to scoop and enjoy it, when I found this image online, I had to share.
It seems like food just tastes better when it colorful and foods like color-less hummus definitely are more appetizing when served with colorful friends.
If I'm going to have pitas with my hummus, I prepare them as in this recipe, toasted with fresh fragrant rosemary:
