Well I did so much running around today, I never did get my workout in. But I know I had to have burned some calories. I was trying to get brakes for my car and stupid me gave the wrong year-go figure. I bought my car in 04 but it's an 05. So I told them 04. I had to make 2 trips for the brakes and then it was a good thing I had to go back as I'd bought the oil filter earlier and also given the wrong year! Then about 4 hours later, I realized I still have the lights-going to have to get those and I probably will end up paying more for those. Oh how I love state inspection time!

I failed to plan and you know what they say...when fail to plan, you plan to fail. I should've had a bigger lunch but I was doing the car stuff. Then by the time I got home I was starving. It's funny because my food journal says I'm under my calories. However, with the dinner I had around 4, plus my playing catch up on the water, I'm not feeling very hungry. I hope the sodium & water doesn't cause me to retain horribly. However, I'm sure I will see a difference from this morning in the opposite direction emoticon Oh well, I will chalk it up to poor planning, learn from it and move on!

I can do this! I just need to put one foot in front of the other, one baby step at a time! emoticon

    As long as we learn from past mistakes all is good. Next time I am sure you will be better prepared. I usually have a Larabar or Raw Revolution bar in my pocketbook as a back up. I also have nuts or pumpkin or sunflower seeds in my car.

    I love that you didn't beat yourself up about not planning and you are not allowing this to be an excuse to say, "oh, well, I ruined my snacking, it ruined my day - I might as well forget about this week and start again Monday" What you said was..."I WILL LEARN FROM IT AND MOVE ON!"

I love a quote Dr. Phil made about it. He said, "Even the best diet will fail if you are not prepared for you hunger." So, add that to all the great tips you have learned or maybe knew but now are determined to put into practice!
