I had made a small goal for myself to see the 220's by New Year's and I happily reached that goal today. I bumped from 230 down to 229 today. By setting small goals for myself along the way, it helps me keep focused, rather than get overwhelmed by the big task at hand.
My next goal is to see the number 220. It's less than 10 pounds away, and I know it's a reachable goal...I've come down from 257 and I'm heading towards 150, but my mind only truly focuses on that small bit at a time...which takes a lot of stress off of me - by looking at smaller increments.
