Ok, I know this is going to sound a bit weird, but I LOVE MY CHEEKBONES!!! And they're back! This time to stay! I love when my weight loss shows up on my face.
Last night when I went to the weight watchers I'd lost 2.5lb. I was pleased with that. My meeting at home is off now till 6th January but there are some other ones reasonably near by so I'll go next week if my Dad can give me a lift. We had a buffet of weight watchers food. I didn't eat much: a small slice of reduced fat ham and pineapple pizza, a few (not many) low fat crisps, 2 small slices celery with low fat soft cheese,a pickled onion, a broccoli and salmon fish cake made from a ww recipe (1 point each?). I find it hard to track buffet food on here and I'm not liking focusing on calories again. It's too exact. I'd rather go back to the weight watchers way of rounding things up and down to the nearest half point. I think I'll go back to using a paper tracking and not logging my food on here.
So far today I've had 11.5 points. I went to work in the charity shop and packed my lunch (home made tofu, rice and teriyaki sauce with pepper, carrots and cucumber and a banana). I was worried about all the chocolates and biscuits that would be around but I wasn't in the back much at all, mainly on the shop floor tidying up, so I didn't eat any or have much coffee, just one cup with my lunch. The only thing I ate which I hadn't planned was one cheese finger biscuit things because I love them and haven't had one in ages. (There's no way I'd buy a box full of them!) Just 40 calories or 1 point.
I didn't exercise yesterday. I didn't feel like it in the morning and thought I'd do it later but then I didn't think about it and then after weight watchers, my Dad and I went to the supermarket, then I ate my evening meal and watched tv with my Mam and then it was 10pm! I think my best bet is to do it first thing in the morning whether I feel like it or not. I thought I'd have time later in the day as I was just studying and playing computer games and didn't have anything planned till the evening.
I did exercise this morning but haven't written in my journal. I think I ought to do it first thing, whilst I drink my coffee and before I exercise. Can I eat breakfast before I exercise? I generally have 2 weetabix with skimmed milk and a cup of coffee then wait an hour then do it.
Anyway, I'm feeling very positive about my weight loss. At the ww meeting we were discussing what we'd like our weight to do over Christmas. Some people said they'd like to gain up to 3lb and almost everyone said they were hoping to stay the same weight and that's what I said too, but really I'd like to lose another 2lb over the next 3 weeks and that way I'll get my next silver seven (a little sticker for every 7lb lost). That seems doable if I stick with my exercise plan and try my best to stick to my food plan. I'm going to eat what I want on Christmas day but not go crazy and eat for the sake of eating. I'm going to not worry about my drinks on New Year's Eve night. Apart from that, I'm going to do my best to eat healthy meals and not snack too much and exercise more.
