Give Me A Vision
Give me a vision, Lord, I plead,
Vision of souls and a world in need:
Loved ones and friends - the one next door,
Then let me see there are millions more.
Give me vision, Lord, divine,
Kindle with fire this cold heart of mine,
May the unselfishness it burn,
Fill me with love and a deep concern.
Give me a vision, Lord, divine,
So charged with power that it shall shine
Out to the lost in deepest night,
Wand'ring along in their sad, sad plight.
Give me vision, Lord, divine,
Without a limit or boundary line;
Help me to see a world in sin,
Not just the field I am working in.
Give me vision,
Heart-stirring vision,
Open my eyes, Lord, today;
Show me the sighing,
Doomed and the dying,
Give me vision, I pray.
I had a mild headache this morning but I took something for it before it got bad. Plus I popped my neck. That helped some.
Lady is with me this morning. She's laying on the footrest between my legs with her head on my right leg. It's the only side that she can look down the hall. Tigger is asleep on the north end of the couch. Lady has changed positions but still laying between my legs. She has her head on my belly.
I think that dad is getting up and its about time too. It's getting later in the morning.
12-:55pm
Dad's waiting to do his therapy. I was going to do mine but my period thought that it needed to come back for some odd reason (ended a few hours later). So I'm going to wait and see on Friday. It's gone but it could come back.
It's a beautiful day outside but it's cold. It's suppose to get a high of 28 degrees. Tomorrow it's going to be a high of 38 degrees.
I'm drinking a cappucino right now and so far no belly aches. That's good. Let's hope that I don't get one before dad gets done with his therapy.
1:27pm
Dad's about half way done with his therapy. I went through 2 magazines (People and Health) since getting here. I was going to walk over to where I do my exercises but dad's almost done with his therapy.
I'm thinking of doing my exercises on a DVD when we get home depending on when we get home. I am not sure which one I'm going to do yet. I have time until it's time for us to leave here. I might do the new one. I haven't decided yet. I REALLY want to get osme of this weight off.
I was a good girl so far today. Except for the soft pretzle. I only had a quarter of one. I need to figure out how to put it down when I get home.
Looks like dad is using either 2 or 3lb hand weights. I'm going to get some shoulder exercises off of SparkPeople and use them on dad to help with his shoulder. PLus I'm going to sit him on my exercise ball to help with is stability. But they have him laying down.
4:54pm
I did my new workout DVD (The Biggest Lose Cardio Max) and did Level 1 and Bob was the trainer. Talk about a workout. It lasted 30 minutes and it was the greatest workout. I may feel it in the morning. I'm even thinking of doing it in the morning. I will be doing Level 1 for 2 weeks before going to Level 2. I'll let everyone know how things go.
8:07pm
Well, I had fried chicken tonight for supper and now I'm paying for it with the runs. (Took something for them). So I better not eat anymore fried food. Espeically when it gives me that much trouble.
I did the 5 mile Walk Away The Pounds DVD after I did the The Biggest Loser DVD. I'm not sore right now in my legs. My arms are a little sore. That's not from the Walk Away The Pounds DVD. But it's from The Biggest Loser DVD when you did the arm exercises. When dad and I were going to get supper, I could tell tha tI worked my core because that area was tight when I was getting dad a Kleenex. So The Biggest Loser Cardio Max DVD REALLY helps your core.
8:55pm
I'm really (and I do mean REALLY) starting to feel my core. My abs are sore almost to the point where I could cry. And a little nauseated. Both DVDs that I did REALLY worked the core during the time you are doing the exercises. I reccommend the 2 DVDs.
I'm going to be sleeping well tonight after all the execising that I did before supper. I'm going to try to do them in the morning.
