I took all last week off as far as working out went and I feel much better. I can definitely tell I've been off for a week. I woke up this morning and did 45 minutes of Turbo Jam at 5am. My eyes are struggling to stay open but for the most part I feel good.
I was actually excited and looking forward to working out this morning. My knee was a little sore but nothing I couldn't handle. My goal is to do 3-4 days of cardio this week and then 2 days of weights or resistance bands. A friend of mine and I are also checking in to each other on Monday's regarding our weight and various activities (food and exercise) for the previous week. This is more for her and it seems to be helping her so whatever I can do to encourage her I will. We both weigh about the same so it is motivitating of us both to be accountable to someone.
My goal is to maintain through the holidays but I'm going to continue with my workout routine and Alternate Day Diet plan in the hopes to lose again through Christmas like I did through Thanksgiving. I gave into too many of my cravings this weekend and suffered the consequences of a 1 pound gain. However, I'm not worried. I'll knock that 1 pound out and then some by the end of the week.
