The Vegetarian thing is going really well. I am loving it! Because Jordon has been doing some night class kind of things the last month, we have been living on Amy's frozen meals. And really they are very good! She has this Asian Noodle Bowl that is just to die for!

Last night I finally had a chance to actually cook. I made a SP recipe for pseudo-beef stroganoff. It was really good. I had to tweak it a little bit though. It called or 8 ounces of portbello mushrooms. Even on my hungriest days I could not do that much! I used 3 oz instead. I also had to thin it out some but adding a little non-fat milk and fat free sour cream while it was cooking. It was really good.

In the news...
I have decided to try a suppliment. It's called Calotren. Heard of it? Thoughts? I ordered some yesteday. I've tried everything else. So this is my last ditch effort on my own before I talk to a doctor about surgery. So ... I just hope it works.

Good Job Irish! I love portabellas. Sounds like you made some sensible changes!

I hope to be on more often, but until I can, I'll pop up everyonce in a while.

I love portabellas! Iíve gone vegetarian 3 to 4 days a week. I love meat & canít give it completely but am liking the variety its adding to my meals. Iím also trying Prevention Mags new eating system where you eat 4 meals of about 400 calories each. Iíll let you know how it goes.
