So I figured out a while back that the second StairMaster from the end is set a little different from the others. It's consistently a harder workout, so I stick with the other five, which are more consistent.
But today I absentmindedly got on it and only realized it when I was wondering why the early peak was so rough. Ten minutes in I was wiped out. I ended up stepping down, letting my heart rate return from the stratosphere, and doing another twenty minutes on one of the friendlier machines. Not an enjoyable way to get my cardio in. Still, I got it knocked out and got home.
Also, classes are now over!
