Easy Come, Easy Go...!

Wednesday, December 09, 2009

My HUGE, BIG NEWS of the day is that

(drum roll...)

in 6 days I have succeeded in dropping ALL FIFTEEN POUNDS I gained while traveling over Thanksgiving weekend!

Picked 'em UP in 6...DROPPED 'em in 6! Woo hoo!

I'm so PLEASED over having such CONTROL over my least when I choose to EXERCISE! And what a lesson learned from slacking on my vigilance for just a few days...whew!

I haven't STARVED myself either...just cut way back on calories to around 1200 per day. But selective, well-chosen calories. No extensive, intensive workouts either, just my daily treadmill sessions of 35-45 mins. and 3 ST sessions during the week.

What a sigh of relief that I am back down to 205 and within "do-able" distance from breaking into my long-fabled ONEderland!

Woo HOO! :-)

emoticon Don! I also liked that you didn't go to extremes but just got back into your usual pattern. That seems to be a key thing for us!

Oh, that's awesome! I'm so glad you were able to get rid of that excess baggage! Now you can continue on from where you were. Good job with the exercise.

    Fantastic news, Don!

I'd hoped most of it was water weight from the processed foods and that it would go away quickly...

The REAL victory here, as I see it, is that you buckled down with determination and controlled all the factors within your power. You kept from being demoralized, and got your nose right back to the grindstone.

You Rawk!
