Feeling a little frustrated

A few weeks ago I felt like I was actually making some headway. I had lost a couple pounds that I couldn't get past. Now I feel hungry all the time and I have a hard controlling my cravings. I gained 5 pounds and I just can't seem to get my eating under control.

I realize some of it is emotional eating. I just went through a breakup that has been long overdue. I kept fretting about it for months, but its finally done. I'm doing ok with that, I think, now if i could just drop these 5 pounds I put on, I might feel like I'm back on track.

    Hey chickie, you know I'm here for you! I'd say let's go get a glass of wine tonight, but that doesn't help you out on the calorie thing does it? I'm always available if you want to go for a walk or head up to U of M or someplace and hit the track, weights or pool. You will be much better off without him and without him playing his games with your mind. You'll be dropping that 5 pounds in no time and in a healthy relationship.

    Don't worry about the 5 pounds. Just pick yourself back up and focus on losing them. Besides focusing on that will get your mind off the break up. Set some new goals if you like and pursue them. There is some much hope out there, don't ever lose it. emoticon
