I'm on an elimination diet to see if there are some hidden food issues that are causing problems. I was already dairy and refined sugar free and vegetarian, and now have also eliminated gluten, corn, soy, coffee, eggs, peanuts, and unrefined sugars (not including agave). I'm feeling pretty good. I'd fallen into a pattern of using processed wheat gluten products in order to get enough protein in my diet, and this is forcing me to eat only whole unprocessed foods. I feel like I should be eating this way anyway. The only craving I'm having is a sunbutter and jelly sandwich, but that's doable, I just need to make some bread first.
I'd hit a bit of a slowdown in the weight loss, but I'm betting this jump starts things.
