Day number 2 - isn't it sad

Thursday, December 03, 2009

I feel embarrassed even admitting this but I have never been on a diet for more than 2 days! (please stop laughing) :)

It is day 2 and I am feeling good. I'm suprised that I printed out a grocey list yesterday and plan on going shopping tonight. Does anyone use these grocery lists from the site? I am hoping it will make my waist - AND MY POCKETBOOK - smaller if I stick to only buying what is on the list!

Just wanted to post something today to keep up with my goal of posting 3 times a week! Wish me luck!!!

The grocery lists work great; the one thing you need to look out for is the amounts. If you add a recipe to your meal planner, the grocery list will tell you to only buy the amount necessary for the servings in that specific week, not what's actually needed to make the full recipe. So I just double-check the recipes and write the correct amount on the printout.

I totally get what you are saying. I made three days on Atkins, and I read the book for Flat Belly Diet. I have been here on Spark fro just over 2 months, the longest diet EVER for me. So far, I have lost over 20 pounds. If I can do it, you can too. Stick with it, and make sure you ask for help whenever you think you need it!! You are going to do GREAT!!!

It's hard to change habits. For me I usually quit after two weeks. I just passed the two week mark yesterday. If I can do it, you can, too!
