I have renewed commitment to staying in my calorie range - and I've found my optimal calorie count to lose is at 1400-1450. Fewer calories, my body wants to hold on to what it's got. More calories, I maintain and don't lose. So I stay in that range, I do my strength training, and add cardio just about every day - either functional cardio (as in wedging clay) or get out and walk.
Now if I can just keep it up - if I can lose 5 lbs every month for the next 9 months, I'll be at my goal weight by my birthday (August). That would work for me.
